Greenbook Landscape Design is a Devon-based garden design studio, creating thoughtful, well-resolved outdoor spaces across the South West and beyond.
Our work is rooted in a simple idea: a garden should feel natural to use, sit comfortably within its surroundings, and stand the test of time.
Our Story
Greenbook Landscape Design was established in 2019, built on a long-standing connection to the South West and a desire to create gardens that reflect the character of the landscape.
After relocating from Bath to Exeter in 2024, the studio is now firmly rooted in Devon, working across the region on a range of residential and larger-scale projects.
That connection to place continues to shape how we approach every design - responding to the landscape, the setting, and the way each space is used.
How We Work
Every project is approached with a balance of creative thinking and practical understanding.
We take the time to understand how you want to use the space, how the garden sits within the wider setting, and what it needs to function properly day to day.
From there, the design develops into something that not only looks good, but works in terms of layout, materials, levels and planting.
It’s a collaborative process, whether we’re working directly with homeowners or alongside architects and contractors on larger projects.

Chris Hull
Greenbook Landscape Design is led by Chris Hull, a multi-award-winning garden designer with a background in ecology and conservation.
Chris brings a combination of horticultural knowledge, creative thinking and practical experience to every project, alongside his work on BBC’s Garden Rescue and appearances on ITV’s Love Your Weekend.
