Perennial Garden

A charming colourful oasis to enjoy from the conservatory

The brief was quite straight forward – remove the old and outdated existing planting and replace with a vibrant scheme that gives year round interest.

The client’s emphasis was on bold colours – they had recently renovated their interior and wanted the garden to do it justice.

To give the clients the best results, we proposed an initial fee for Planting Plans and Planting Mood Boards to design an accurate and exciting scheme that could be approved by the client and would also enable us to cost the project easily.

Following completion of the Planting Plans we then created a fee proposal for the Planting Supply and Installation.

In the rear garden we decided to use mostly perennials and grasses for maximum impact, colour and seasonality, with a few feature shrubs for structure. Their new glass extension looked out onto the rear garden so it was the perfect place to use bold colours and varied texture.

The front garden required a lighter touch, so existing shrubs were retained and infill planting was used to give the space a new lease of life. This was then finished with a decorative slate mulch to match house.

The Feedback

“The results were amazing even in the first year of growth. Hot perennial colours and textural grasses gave the garden the wow factor it deserved.”
