At Greenbook Landscape Design, we believe that every garden tells a story—yours. Our mission is to create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply personal, sustainable, and in harmony with the natural environment.

Meet Chris Hull

Chris Hull, our founder, is a multi-award-winning landscape designer with a passion for creating gardens that inspire. With a background in Ecology and Conservation, Chris integrates his expertise into every project, ensuring that each garden is not only beautiful but also environmentally considerate.

Chris’s career highlights include:

  • Winning Gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 with the 'Microbiome Garden,' co-designed with Sid Hill.
  • Presenting on BBC’s Garden Rescue, where he collaborates with Charlie Dimmock, Lee Burkhill, and Flo Hedlam to design and build life-changing gardens for homeowners across the UK.

Chris thrives on variety, bringing extensive horticultural knowledge, creative flair, and practical landscaping experience to every project. His favourite gardens to visit include the historic Hotel Endsleigh Gardens, designed by Humphrey Repton—a true testament to timeless design.

The Greenbook Landscape Design Story

Greenbook Landscape Design was established in January 2019, born from a love for the South West’s natural beauty and a desire to create meaningful outdoor spaces. Originally from Devon, Chris and Zoe always felt a deep connection to the region and wanted to return to their roots. After relocating from Bath to Exeter in 2024, Chris and the team have made it their mission to design gardens that reflect the unique character of the South West.
